What was the name of this movie?

It was about this high school girl whose ex-boyfriend became obsessed with her. He killed her new boyfriend by chasing him down and snapping his neck. Then he attacks her house and tries to kill her family. The most memorable seen from it was when he beheaded their dog and put the head on a stick and stuck in through the doggy door to scare them.
