What colors should my "NASCAR cookies" be?

I bought a race car cookie cutter to make NASCAR cookies for a party I'm going to. I figured I'd make them all look like the ever so recognizable Dale Earnhardt car, but I don't really know what colors I should be using. What color should I make the base. White? With red and yellow gel for writing the number 3? Or black even? I'm lost and I couldn't find any such cookies when I typed it into google. Thanks in advance!
