IPhone cracked apps can I be arrested/tracked?

I downloaded a cracked app and it said"we will send the cops to ur ip adress unless you buy the real version".It sounds like they're trying to scare me into buying their crap so what do you guys think?I don't see how they could even have my ip adress since it was on installous and it didn't ask to use my location so I don't see how they could find me.so yeh leave your thoughts and best answer gets 10points!also I don't see how they could find me because for all they know I went to the library or starbucks or a neighbors house.
